EndoSOM Education
How to get certified
Initial training
Initial training is included in the sales package. Initial training will be performed immediately after equipment is installed and tested in your office. Training will be arranged by a sales team member or our in-house coordinator.
Training sessions
Training sessions are divided into a didactic and a hands-on component. Didactic training can be performed remotely or in person based on your practice needs.
Basic training session
At the end of the basic training session, participants will be issued a course participation certificate which will allow them to perform procedures in the office.
Advanced certification
Advanced certification will be available after participants complete the minimum number of required procedures with at least a 90% completion rate, and with all the landmarks needed to complete interpretation.
Training plan
There are 4 hours of lectures to refresh participants’ knowledge of upper airway anatomy. Additional lectures will cover best practices associated with nasal endoscopy, common upper airway pathology, use of software, common pitfalls, patient's expectations and much more.
Hands-on “The EndoSOM way” training will be performed by an experienced provider and is expected to take 3-4 hours depending on your skill set and technical acumen. Provider may request additional trainings as they feel necessary.
Group trainings are available and usually include 3-10 people.
